Cynthia Denise Morris, 65

Cynthia Denise Morris, 65, passed away Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, at the North MS Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. She was the wife of James “Billy” Morris.

A memorial service to honor Cynthia’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 3,  at Allen Funeral Home in Wylie, Texas.

Cindy was born on August 16, 1958 to the late John Murry Farr and Marjorie Hope Frazier Farr in Roanoke, Virginia. Cindy lived in Alaska for many years where she worked as a loan officer. She loved so many things about Alaska, like the amazing scenery, the northern lights, the weather, and a guy named James Morris. They were married on December 13, 1993. Anyone who knew Cindy always speaks about her huge heart and her generosity. Cindy “never met a stranger” and many of those she, she invited over to dinner.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her precious memory include her husband, James “Billy” Morris of Batesville; two children, Jamie Van Cleaf of San Diego, CA and Jeremiah Morris of Denton, TX; two sisters, Phyllis Mattox of McKinney, TX, and Stephanie Jones of Murphreesboro, TN; two brothers, William Farr of Tulsa, OK, and John Lee Farr of Plano, TX; a sister-in-law, Kay Farr of Frisco, TX; and three grandchildren, Christine Corona, Aaron James Morris, and Noah John Morris.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Farr.
