Byron Tedford displays one of the special candidate cakes that were auctioned during the rally last Thursday. This cake brought $450 from a candidate. Later, a supporter of a sheriff’s candidate paid $750 for that cake. The yellow cake mix with icing and decoration helped provide funds for upcoming fire department projects.
