Batesville Municipal Court was held Wednesday, Oct. 2, with Judge Charlie Baglan presiding.

Sherry Cunningham, 435 Cherry St., Marks, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness and was fined $225 due in 30 days.

Curtis S. Gibson, 233 Westdale Ave., Pope, failed to appear on charges of possession of paraphernalia and a seatbelt violation.

Joshua D. Hinds, 289B Ruby Rd., Courtland, failed to appear on charges of possession of marijuana in a vehicle and suspended driver’s license.

Jamie J. Cox, 211 Tubbs Rd.,Apt.15, Batesville, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct-failure to comply and was fined $647.

Jeremy U. Martin, 242 MLK Dr., Batesville, failed to appear on charges of suspended driver’s license, failure to yield to blue lights and non-payments of old fines totaling $1,621. An arrest warrant was issued.

Rodriquez R. Ward, 329 Union Rd., Sardis, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and non-payment of old fines totaling $3,435.

David E. Burton, 107 Magnolia St., Batesville, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was fined $1,146.

Briana N. Vasquez, 216 Noble St. ,Batesville, was ordered to pay $1,254 in old fines.

Gerald B. Wallace, 209 Vance St., Batesville, was ordered to pay $907 in old fines.

Larry D. Bogan, 485 Lacy Rd.,Darling, paid $381 prior to court for non-payment of old fines.

Devonte L. Rudd, 5978 Curtis Rd., Batesville, failed to appear for non-payment of old fines totaling $3,204. An arrest warrant was issued.

Quintravious D. Milam, 611 Shiloh Rd., Courtland, pleaded guilty to domestic violence-simple assault and non-payment of old fines totaling $1,627 due in 90 days.

Scott Perkins, 2394 Hwy.35S, Batesville, had a charge of felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell bound over to the Panola Co. Grand Jury.

Harold Applen, no address given, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was. fined $1,146.

Kimberly J. White, no address given, had a charge of false pretense bound over to the Panola Co. Grand Jury.

Dion Pryor, no address given, pleaded not guilty to disturbance of a family and was given an Oct. 23 trial date.

Dale Gann, no address given, was ordered to pay $381 for contempt of court.

In cases set for trial,

Kevin M. Dodson, 8445 Clubview Rd., Olive Branch, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and giving false information, and had a public drunkenness charge remanded to the files.

Jimmy Bishop, 557 Sanders Rd., Sardis, had a case of DUI-refusal and careless driving continued until a later date.

Kristine L. Sorrells, 18087 Hwy.51 S., Sardis, failed to appear for the third time on charges of possession of paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substances. A warrant was issued for her arrest.
