Randy Lynn McMinn, 56, died Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis.

He was born Feb. 12, 1963, to Charles and Audrey McMinn.

Mr. McMinn was a graduate of West Panola High School, Northwest Mississippi Community College, and Delta State University. He was a pitcher for the Northwest Rangers and Delta State Statesmen baseball teams.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Samantha McMinn of Tupelo, and Courtney McMinn Davis of North Carolina;  a son, Grant McMinn of Hernando; a brother, Stevie McMinn of Courtland; and a sister, Ashley McMinn Robinson of Batesville.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held Sunday, June 23, at 2 p.m. at Batesville Church of Christ. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. in the church annex prior to the services, and immediately after the service.

 

Martha S. Rowsey, 101, died Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at the Yalobusha County Nursing Home in Water Valley

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced by Wells Funeral Home once finalized by her family.

 

Brian Sergi, 71, passed away at his home in Batesville Tuesday, June 18, 2019. He was the husband of Jackie Sergi.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today (June 21) in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Magnolia Cemetery with military honors.

 

Funeral services for Willie Lee Wilbourn, 65, will be held Saturday, June 22, with Pastor W.T. Wilbourn officiating. Burial will follow at Rock Hill Cemetery under the direction of Cooley’s Mortuary.
