It was a clean sweep for Panola County football teams Friday night.

North Panola

North Panola continued to dominate its opponents with a 50-6 win over Holly Springs. Quarterback KJ Jefferson is two touchdowns away from tying the school touchdown passing record of 104. Jefferson has 102. He threw for six touchdowns against Holly Springs for 314 yards.

South Panola

South Panola  put itself in good position to a playoff berth in a key road victory over 1-6A district nemesis Tupelo 21-7. Janari Dean scored all three touchdowns on 35 carries for 245 yards. He scored on runs of 52, three and 15 yards.

North Delta

North Delta defeated Marshall Academy 40-20 in non-district action.
