Batesville Police officers, Finch-Henry Security, staff and students all received an exercise in an active shooter scenario Tuesday morning when one officer role-played the bad guy while others on the shift coordinated with campus security to hunt him down at the multi-buidling campus located south of Batesville on Highway 51. Evaluators gave good marks while suggesting improvements to participating officers and commending Job Corps staff and students for properly sheltering in place with all doors locked and all window blinds drawn.
