deYampert Brame “Dee” Garner, age 46, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at his home in Batesville.

Funeral services for Dee will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2016 at Batesville First United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville.

Dee was born May 28, 1970 to Ernest Levi Garner and Elizabeth Brame Byrd in Panola County, MS. Dee was the Corporate Manager for On Call Staffing in Batesville and a member of Batesville First United Methodist Church. Dee was a loving father. He loved his family and friends above all else. He had many special interests in life. Dee enjoyed hunting, going to the lake, riding motorcycles and raising bullmastiffs. Dee loved sports and the Ole Miss Rebels.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife; Catherine Parr Garner of Batesville, his daughter; Sloan Elle Garner of Batesville, 2 sons; deYampert Brame Garner, II and Mickinley Carter Garner both of Batesville, his mother; Elizabeth Brame Byrd (Ellis) of Batesville, his father; Ernest Levi Garner, Jr. of Batesville, his brother; Ernest Levi Garner III (Beth) of Batesville, his sister; Ann Whitten “Whit” Bright (Shane) of Nesbit, and his grandmother; Ann Whitten Brame of Batesville.

Dee is preceded in death by his grandparents; Ernest Levi Garner, Sr., Helen Ferrell Garner and Julius deYampert Brame.
