John “Jake” Moyer

John “Jake” Moyer, 22, of Senatobia, MS, passed away March 24, 2016. He is survived by his parents, John A. and Sandra Moyer of Senatobia, MS; grandparents, Truman and Mary Hill of Senatobia, MS, David and Mae Dell Workman of Como, MS, and John and Nancy Moyer of Marks, MS; and his sister, Sydney Claire Moyer of Senatobia, MS.
Jake graduated from Magnolia Heights School in Senatobia and attended Northwest Community College in Senatobia and Delta State University in Cleveland, MS.
The family requests that memorials be sent to St. Jude or Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.
Services were held Monday, March 28, at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Senatobia. Burial followed in Senatobia Memorial Cemetery. Pate-Jones Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.

Claudia Mae Jones Valentine

Claudia Mae Jones Valentine, 79, died Saturday, March 26, 2016, at her residence.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Cooley’s Mortuary. Pastor Zannie Leland will officiate. Burial will be held in Macedonia Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Cooley’s Mortuary. Cooley’s Mortuary has charge.
Valentine, born Feb. 18, 1936, in Yalobusha County to the late Fred Owens and Annie Coward Owens as a member of Macedonia Church.
