Harmon Glyntess Cox
MARKS––Harmon Glyntess Cox, 88, died Friday, March 11, 2016, at his residence.
Services were held Sunday at Wells Funeral Home. Burial was held at Forrest Memorial Park.
Harmon, born Nov. 4, 1927, to the late Dewitt Clinton Cox and Dora Lee Azlin Cox in Sumner, was a member of West Marks Baptist Church.
Joyce Clark
CRENSHAW – Joyce Clark, 77, passed away March 9, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto in Southaven.
Services were held Saturday, March 12 at 3 p.m. at Crenshaw United Methodist Church. Burial followed in Longtown Cemetery. Pate-Jones Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
Clark was a member of Crenshaw United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Tate, Billie and Bob Watlington.
She is survived by her husband, Wiley Clark of Crenshaw; daughter, Paula Clark of Panama City, Fla.; brother, Jerry Tate of Paducah, Ken; granddaughter, Megan Murray of Crenshaw; and four great-grandchildren, Maxwell Oleyar, Jonathan Oleyar, Maggie Mae Oleyar, and Micah Murray.
Memorials may be made to the church or Shriners Hospital for Children.
Glynda Brower Haley
Glynda Brower Haley, 70, died Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi.
Services were held Saturday at Wells Funeral Home. Burial was held at Crowder Cemetery. Rev. Keith Bolen and Rev. Jimmy Smith officiated.
Haley, born Nov. 17, 1945, to the late Kenneth and Aileen Pollock Mitchell in Lambert, attended Enon Baptist Church and had been a member of Walnut Baptist Church.
Ivery Lee Mobly Jr.
PLAMDALE, Calif.––Ivery Lee Mobly Jr., 55, died Thursday, February 25, 2016 at his residence.
Services were held Saturday at Henderson Funeral Home in Sardis. Burial was in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Como.
Mobly, born April 12, 1960, in Memphis, to Minnie B. Lamar of Plamdale, Calif. and the late Ivery Lee Mobly, was in the marketing business.
Annie Mae Russell
SARDIS––Annie Mae Russell, 78, died Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi.
Russell, born on September 27, 1937, was a member of Cold Springs Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Cold Springs Methodist Church with burial following in the church cemetery. Dickins Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
Jessie Murlee Standard
BATESVILLE – Jessie “Jr.” Murlee Standard, 84, died Friday, March 11, 2016 at his home.
Born in Vance, he was a member of Locke Station Baptist Church.
He was truly devoted to his family and loved fixing anything and everything.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 14, 2016 at Dickins Funeral Home. Interment was in Batesville Magnolia Cemetery. Dickins Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Helen Finn Standard; daughters, Sherry Wickshire, Bonnie Mitchell (Roger) and Terri Bright (Al); sons, Chris Standard (Claudine) and Steve Standard (Debbie) ; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
