Annie Perry (left) and Shakemia Towns were among the volunteers who filled waiting car trunks with free groceries delivered by the Mid-South Food Bank  to Cistern Hill Church in Como Tuesday.
The food distribution is sponsored every other month by the North Panola Church Collaborative. A dozen churches raise the funds for the food, arrange for its delivery from the food bank, and organize the distribution.
The group also pre-screens applicants and presents vouchers to be redeemed for food.
