Jerome Minyard
BATESVILLE––Jerome Minyard, 79, died Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Tri-Lakes Medical Center.
Services were held Monday at Wells Funeral Home. The committal service followed in Enon United Methodist Church Cemetery near Carrollton. Wells Funeral Home had charge.
Minyard, born Sept. 1, 1935 in Carrollton, to the late Rufus Charlie and Vallie Pinkston Minyard, was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Batesville, and retired after 43 years as a plant foreman for Trinity Industries based in Asheville, N.C. where they produced rail cars. He served his country in the U.S. Army.
Surviors include: his wife, Burcene Browning Minyard of Pope; two sisters, Gloria Minyard Browning of Grenada and Christine Minyard Gilbert of Paris, Tenn.; one brother, Randy Michael Minyard of Crown Point, Ind.

Erdie Bishop Green
SARDIS–Erdie Odessie Bishop Green, 95, died Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at her residence.
Services were held Monday at Rose Chapel COGIC in Crenshaw, with burial in Harmonia M.B. Church Cemetery. Felix Cauthen Funeral Home had charge.
Mrs. Green is survived by two daughters, Lillian Leona Griffin of Havre De Grace, Md., and Daurris G. Robinson of Sardis; three sons, Eddie L. Fondren of St. Louis, George S. Green of Florissant, Mo., and Willie Green of Jackson; 21 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Mary Smith
WEST MEMPHIS-Mary Smith, 61, died Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Methodist North in Memphis.
Funeral services were held Sunday at McIvor M.B. Church in Sardis. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Smith, a homemaker, is survived by her husband, Freddie B. Smith; one daughter Teresa Williams of Gary, Ind.; two sons, Bernard Smith of Austin, Texas and Robert Benson of West Memphis; two sisters, Olivette Broadnax of West Memphis and Rosie Simmons of Sardis.

Timothy J. White
BYRAM––Timothy J. White, 73, died, Thursday, July 16, 2015, at his daughters home in Byram
Memorial services were held Saturday at Wells Funeral Home.
White was born December 15, 1941 to the late Wilbourn Eugene White and Rosa Lee Dunn White in Marks. During his life time he worked as a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Bryan Foster and David White.
Survivors include: his wife, Sandra Brown White of Byram; four daughters, Rose Tillman (Terry) of Askew, Tessia Clements (Mark) of Byram, Tammy Torres (Raz) of Las Vegas, Timmie Jean White of Memphis; one son, William White (Amber) of Batesville; one brother, Tommy White of Bay City Mich.; 21 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made to assist with funeral expenses

Dorothy Charlene Womble
BATESVILLE – Dorothy Charlene Tutor Womble, 78, mother of Tom Womble of Batesville, died Monday morning July 20, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North Mississippi. Mrs. Womble is the widow of Joseph Edward Womble.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m.Wednesday, July 20, 2015, at Wells Funeral Home with interment to follow in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 5 – 8 p.p. and also one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
Womble was born October 7, 1936 in Pontotoc County, to the late Fielder Daniel and Mary McGregor Tutor. She was a retired L.P.N. and member of West Marks Baptist Church.
Survivors, in addition to her son, include: two sons, Rickie Womble of Marks and Tony Womble of Charleston; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
