CHARLESTON–Georgia J. Kimbrell, 71, died Saturday, January 31, 2015, at her residence. 

Services will be held Saturday, February 7 at 11 a.m. at Little Hubbard M.B. Church in Charleston. Rev. Glenn Swims will officiate. Visitation will be held Friday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. at Cooley’s Mortuary. Burial will be in Little Hubbard Church Cemetery. Cooley’s Mortuary has charge.

Kimbrell, born Jan. 1, 1944, in Chicago, to the late Alfred Jones and Georgia Lucas, was retired as a custodian for Tallahatchie General Hospital. She was a member of Little Hubbard M.B. Church in Charleston.

Survivors include: one daughter, Willie Bell Taylor of Charleston and four sons, Jimmie Lynn Kimbrell, Jessie James Kimbrell and Gene Earl Kimbrell, all of Charleston and Thomas Earl Kimbrell of Chicago.
