Batesville Garden Club members, including (from left) Robin Ridge, Rhonda Amis and Sharon Hodge, are inviting the community to join them this week in their celebration of National Garden Club Week. Suggested ways to celebrate include placing flower pots near business entrances, landscaping and otherwise adding “beauty, splendor, fragrance and nutrition to our lives through the growing of herbs, vegetables, foliage and flowers,” according to the National Garden Club Week proclamation.
