SARDIS — Charles W. Lark III, 25, died Friday, April 12, 2013, in Batesville.
Services will be held Saturday at noon at North Panola High School. Visitation will be held Friday 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Henderson Funeral Home. Rev. Clifton Ward will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Sardis. Henderson Funeral Home has charge.
Lark, born March 7, 1988, in Sardis, to Charles W. Lark and Dorithia Lark of Sardis, attended North Panola High School.
Survivors along with his parents include: one son, Charles W. Lark of Sardis; two sisters, Amica Lark and Lorethia Lark, both of Sardis
Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Shiloh M.B. Church in Courtland. Visitation will be held Saturday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Cooley’s Mortuary. Rev. Carl Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Shiloh Church Cemetery. Cooley’s Mortuary has charge.
Smith, born January 20, 1938, in Prichard, to John Smith and Fennie Mae Manius, was a domestic worker and a member of Shiloh M.B. Church in Courtland.
Survivors include: one son, Jimmy Smith of Kansas City; nine brothers, John Smith, Walter Tunson and Jack Tunson, all of Courtland, Richard Edgerton of Milwaukee, Wis., James Edgerton of Milwaukee, Wis., James Edgerton of Chicago, Elijah Edgerton and William Edgarton, both of Cordova, John Smith Jr. of Proctor, Ark. and Daniel Smith of Forest City, Ark.; nine sisters, Sue Brassell, Lauranine Winfield, Mary Taylor, all of Courtland, Hattie Smith of Southaven and Ethel Henderson of Batesville, Evelyn Donnevson of Crawford, Ark., Melva Smith Rucks of Earl, Ark., Mary Watkins of Severn, Maryland and Mearline Furlow of Proctor, Ark.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren
