A Thanksgiving meal is being planned for the community’s needy and elderly.

Volunteers will serve turkey, dressing and all the trimmings at the National Guard Armory on Thursday, November 22 (Thanksgiving Day) from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Anyone planning to attend should phone Gale Bean at 609-3846 or Adrianna Ellis at 934-5248 so that enough food can be prepared. Volunteers will deliver the meals to those unable to get to the Armory.
Anyone who would like to volunteer to help or make a contribution should phone Bean or Ellis.

This is the second year for the project.
