Letter to the editor

On behalf of Lafayette County Department Family and Childrens Services and the foster children within Lafayette County, we would like to express our humble gratitude to the Employees of G. E. Aviation in Batesville for the contribution that they provided in order to make the Christmas Wish List 2011 successful.

Due to their exceptional generosity, every foster child was accounted for at Christmas. Foster parents and relative caretakers were amazed by the wonderful Christmas gifts donated for the children. After the gifts were opened, our office received phone calls, letters, and visits from many of the children expressing their excitement and appreciation. Thank you for helping create a Christmas to remember for the children.
