Gross receives Under-Armour All-American jersey

Issac Gross, a senior football player from South Panola High School, was presented his honorary game jersey at the American Family Insurance Selection Tour for the 2012 Under Armour All-America High School Football Game Wednesday afternoon at South Panola High School in Batesville, Miss.  The event was part of the four-month American Family Insurance Selection Tour for the Under Armour All-America Game.

Gross is one of 90 players selected to compete in the fifth-annual Under Armour All-America Game presented by American Family Insurance, a nationally televised competition spotlighting the country’s top high school seniors.  The 2012 Under Armour All-America Game is slated for Jan. 5, 2012, at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., and will be televised on ESPN.

Gross is currently ranked No. 37 overall in the ESPNU Top 150 and fourth at defensive tackle, and is committed to Ole Miss.

“I’ve been watching this game for a long time,” Gross said.  “No one from my school has ever had the opportunity to play in the Under Armour All-America Game.  “I’m looking forward to going out there and playing hard.  I’m going to let them know how we play football in Mississippi.”
