FEMA reps set to make return trip
A team from FEMA will return to Panola County this week to help residents affected by storms April 26-27 register for assistance from the agency.
Panola County Emergency Management Director Daniel Cole said the team will be available at his offices in the old Sardis National Guard Armory Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. each day.
Last week the FEMA team registered 89 Panola Countians during visits to Crenshaw and Sardis, Cole said.
Residents who suffered damage to homes or vehicles during those April storms may be eligible for assistance.
