A third person, a 16-year old family member was also shot and receiving treatment at the Regional Medical Center. Griffin said the investigation is ongoing, but he does have a suspect, a family member.

Radio traffic Wednesday morning indicated that a Panola County deputy traveled on the ambulance from the Senatobia hospital with the 16 year-old to the Med.

“The 16-year juvenile was shot in the hand and later turned up at the Senatobia hospital,” Griffin told the Reporter. With the investigation in the early stages, Griffin did not elaborate on the connection between the 16-year and the shooting, but other sources indicated that he was the son of Tommy Jacobs and is considered the primary suspect in the case.

“We got the 911 call around 4:15 a.m. Wednesday morning, Griffin said. Upon arrival deputies found Crystal Jacobs in a bed at her residence, according to Griffin. Tommy Jacobs was also at the residence.
