Riding his Kawasaki 250F every weekend in competive motocross racing is 17-year-old Dylan Redwine’s passion.

He is a member of the American Motocross Association, and has been racing for almost three years in the ATM Series. His bike displays the #505 in the races.

On May 15-16, Redwine competed in the South Central Region at the Desoto Motorsports Park in Mansfield, La. with 23 others in the MX Lites C age group. He qualified sixth in the 250 C Stock Class.

As an area qualifier, Redwine went on to race in the regional competition on June 19-21 at Golden Pine Raceway in Prentiss where there was a larger track and more racers.

In order to qualify for the nationals– to be held at the Loretta Lynn Raceway in Nashville in August where racers come from all over the world– racers had to qualify in the top six at the regionals at Golden Pine Raceway. Redwine did not qualify this year.

Redwine, son of  David and Tina Redwine of Pope, is a student at North Delta School.
