Mae Onie Hibbler

CRENSHAW- Mae Onie Hibbler, 94, died Monday, November 10, 2008, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Desoto.

Services were Saturday at Pleasant Grove M.B. Church in Crenshaw. Rev. Prez Jackson officiated. Burial was in Longtown Cemetery. Eddie Robinson Funeral Home had charge.

Hibbler, born September 6, 1914, to the late Robert Riley and Rosa Bell Riley, was a homemaker.

Survivors include: six sons, Milton Phipps of Crenshaw, Joe Hibbler of Sardis, James Hibbler of Memphis, Michael Hibbler of Longtown, Aron Hibbler and Ozell Hibbler, both of Crenshaw; three daughters, Josie Felix of Richmond, Ind., Rubbie Evans of Crenshaw and Rosie Thomas of Broadview, Ill.; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

George Echizen Hubbard

SARDIS- George Echizen Hubbard, 60, died Saturday, November 15, 2008, at his residence.

No services were held. Wells Funeral Home had charge.

Hubbard, born Aug. 27, 1948, in Tanbu, Japan, to Kimi Hubbard of Sardis, was employed with The Parker Hannifan Company in Batesville where he worked in the sample department.

Survivors along with his mother include: one daughter, Robin Rene Russell and husband Ed of Batesville; one son, Christopher Dean Hubbard and wife, Laura L. Hubbard of Gautier; his half-brother, Jon Hubbard of Virginia; is adopted father, Bob Hubbard of Anchorage, Alaska and three grandchildren, Drake Russell, Tanner and Mason Hubbard.
