 Panola County teams perform clean sweep

It was a clean sweep in Panola County as South Panola, North Panola and North Delta all won their district contests.

South Panola defeated Horn Lake 34-7. North Panola defeated Byhalia in homecoming 50-21 and North Delta defeated Tunica in a  close one, 25-21.

South Panola

For South Panola Nicholas Parker scored three touchdowns and rushed for 202 yards on 17 carries. Domonique Carothers had one touchdown on 52 yards on three carries.

David Renfroe completed six of nine passes for 112 yards. Nickolas Brassell had one touchdown reception for 32 yards. He had a total of 99 receiving yards.

South Panola had a total offense of 460 yards and Horn Lake had 117 yards.

Horn Lake scored with 4:54 left in the third quarter.

On defense Ortiss Robertson, Devin Clark and JaPeri Mitchell were standouts on the defense. LaReco Lee had an interception to help the defense.

North Panola

North Panola was up 14-0 before the offense took the field on a kickoff return by Darius Loveberry and  a punt return by Ricky Hunt.
