City soccer and fall softball sign-up set

The City of Batesville Parks and Recreation Department will hold soccer sign-up for the 2007 soccer season Tuesday, August 28.

Children ages five and older are eligible to play.

Parents may sign up at Trussell Park at 5:30 p.m. Sign-up fee is $10.

Several coaches are needed. Those interested in coaching soccer should contact Coach Robert Lightsey. Coaches do not have to be coaching experts to coach a team.

Sign-up for men’s fall softball league will be held August 28 at Trussell Park. Each team must bring a $100 deposit in order to register.
