South Panola Cheerleaders recently attended camp at the University of Southern Mississippi. The high school squad won camp champs in the home dance, cheer, and extreme routine. SP cheerleaders come out on top at USM camp

South Panola Cheerleaders recently attended camp at the University of Southern Mississippi. The high school squad won camp champs in the home dance, cheer, and extreme routine.

Three girls from SPHS were selected as UCA All-Stars,  Haley Hood, Nikki Dillon and Kasey Kelsay.

The junior high squad placed second in home dance. They won camp champs in cheer and extreme routine. Four girls from the junior high squad were chosen as UCA All-Stars, Anna Baglan, Kelsey Champion, Blair Wilkinson and Misty Clay.  The squads are coached by Tammy Wilkinson, Misty Kilgore, and Trey Griffin.

Kiddie Camp

SP Cheeleaders will be hosting their annual Kiddie Camp on July 30-August 2 for children ages 5-12.  Registration will be from 4:30-5 p.m. on Monday, July 30 at South Panola High School gymnasium.

The cost for each participant is $40. The registration fee includes a camp t-shirt. All Kiddie Camp 2007 participants will perform at Family Night on Thursday, August 2 at 7 in the gymnasium.  The public is invited.  Admission is free.

SP Football Program Book

South Panola High School cheerleaders will begin selling advertisements for the 2007 SP football program July 9-July 27.

Businesses that purchased ads last year will be contacted. Others who are interested may contact Tammy Wilkinson at twilkinson@spsd.k12.ms.us for more information.

The cost of the ads are $50 for 1/4 page, $75 for 1/2 page, and $125 for a whole page.

No political ads will be sold, Wilkinson said.
