Roderickus Cox

COMO–Roderickus Cox, 21, died Monday, June 11, 2007.

Services are Saturday at noon at the PGA Building in Como. Visitation is today 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Rodgers Funeral Home in Coldwater. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery in Batesville. Rodgers Funeral Home in Coldwater has charge.

James Wilbourne Crouch

BATESVILLE–James Wilbourne Crouch, 93, died Sunday, June 10, 2007, in Pittsburg, Kan.

Services were Wednesday at Dickins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Pisgah Cemetery. Dickins Funeral Home had charge.

Crouch, born Nov. 19, 1913, in Panola County, to the late James Monroe Crouch and the late Edna Delene Bankston Crouch, was a member, trustee and Sunday school superintendent at Pisgah Methodist Church. He organized and incorporated Love Joy Water System. He was a farmer and worked with the U.S. Forest Service.

Survivors include: three sons, James Crouch and wife, Betty of Russellville, Ark., Dr. Henry Lee Crouch and wife Jane of Pittsburg, Kan. and Dr. Will Ray Crouch and wife Pat of Hartselle, Ala.; two sisters, Clara Murphy of Black Jack and Lucile Inman of Athens, Ala. and two brothers, Eugene Crouch of Batesville and Elliott Crouch of Batesville; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Lucille and by his brothers Ray Crouch and Lewis Crouch.

In lieu of flowers send memorials to Pisgah Cemetery Fund, c/o Eugene Crouch, 1342 Crouch Rd., Batesville.

Randy Lee Davis

OXFORD–Randy Lee Davis, 58, a self employed small engine mechanic, died Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. He was the father of Wayne Davis of Batesville.

Services will be today at 2 p.m. at Waller Funeral Home Chapel with  Brother Jerry Merritt and Mr. Robert Drewery officiating. Waller Funeral Home has charge.

Survivors along with his son include: his wife, Vicky R. Davis of Oxford; his mother, Genera Davis-Hinton of Oxford; three daughters, Tena Garretty of Millbrook, Ala., Buffie Yarbrough of Oxford and Melissa Davis of Oxford; another    son, Johnathan Davis of Oxford, one brother, W.F. Davis of Coldwater, and four grandchildren.

 He was a member and deacon of Denmark Baptist Church, and was also a Mason.

 Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Denmark Baptist Church.

Alvin Duncan Jr.

SARDIS–Alvin Duncan Jr., 47, died Monday, June 11, 2007.

Services are today at 10 a.m. at Moore-Nowell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial is in Peach Creek Cemetery in Sardis. Moore-Nowell Funeral Home has charge.

Duncan was a welder.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Mayo Prince.

Survivors include: his parents, Alvin Duncan and Ruby Duncan of  Sardis; one daughter, Danielle Duncan of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Debbie Duncan Bateman and Jan Montgomery Hudson and four brothers, Mark Prince, Doug Montgomery, Glenn Montgomery and David Montgomery.

Sandra “Sandi” Faulkner

BATESVILLE–Sandra “Sandi” Faulkner, 34, died Monday, June 11, 2007.

Graveside services are Saturday at 3 p.m. at Spring Valley Cemetery in Mathiston. Hernando Funeral Home has charge.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Louise Clair.

Survivors include: her husband, Nolean Steele Faulkner III; three sons, Christopher Tisdale, David Francisco and Nolean Faulkner IV; two sisters, Barbara Brannon and Mary Anne Ford and two brothers, Kyle Jenkins and Larry Jenkins.
