“We had a very good turnout for registration,” said Boys and Girls Club director Belinda Morris.

The camp will be held on the South Panola High School football field. The ones who have preregistered will signup between 9 and 9:50 a.m. tomorrow morning. The camp is scheduled to begin promptly at 10 a.m.

Each year Townsend, starting right cornerback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, brings present and former teammates with him to help out with the camp.

Last year over 500 children between the ages of 6 and 18 participated.

Back for his seventh consecutive camp is wide receiver Hines Ward, who was named the MVP of Superbowl XL which the Steelers won.

Others players expected to help are Joey Porter, Casey Hampton and Chris Hope.
