YATES, Patricia "Pat" Ann Henning
     BATESVILLE – Patricia "Pat" Ann Henning Yates, 67, died Tuesday, September 5, 2006, at her residence.
     Services were Thursday at Dickins Funeral Home. Rev. John Parker officiated. Burial was in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Dickins Funeral Home had charge.
     Yates was born Aug. 11, 1939, in French Camp to the late Dotson Sydney Henning and the late Elsie Mae Armstrong Henning, was an administrator and nurse for Quitman County Nursing Home and a member of Chapel Hill Church.
     Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Jesse Morris Yates of Batesville; six daughters, Cindy Scruggs of Hayward, Calif., Renee Lothspeich of Decatur, Ala., Pat Harris of Jackson, Cristelle Nixon of Seattle, Wash., Gail Kelly of Starkville and Pam Barnes of Pell City, Ala.; one son Jesse Morris Yates Jr. of Starkville; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
     Memorials may be sent to Chapel Hill Cemetery c/o Helen Bell.

YOUNG, Bertha Mae
     BATESVILLE – Bertha Mae Young, 88, died Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at her residence.
     Services were Sunday at Liberty Hill M.B. Church. Rev. Bobby Young officiated. Burial was in Eureka Cemetery. Cooley’s Mortuary had charge.
     Young, born Nov. 29, 1917, to the late Harry Pegues and the late Ellen Kemmons Pegues, was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Hill M.B. Church in Batesville.
     Survivors include four daughters, Dorothy Young and Janice Walls, both of Batesville, and Ella M. Carr and Eunice Adair, both of Des Moines, Iowa; five sons, Larry Young and Albert Young Jr., both of Batesville, and Harry W. Young, Bobby Young, and Billy W. Young, all of Des Moines, Iowa; one sister, Minnie Lee Caldwell of Ben Harbor, Mich.; 41 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

YOUNG, Joe Willis
     ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Joe Willis Young, 48, died Thursday, June 1, 2006.
     Services were Saturday at Viney Creek M.B. Church. Rev. Ozine Thomas officiated. Burial was in New Bethlehem Cemetery. Cooley’s Mortuary had charge.
     Young, born Aug. 28, 1957, in Batesville to the late Morris Smith and the late Dorothy H. Young, was a member of Christ at Mt. Esther M.B. Church in St. Louis, Mo.
     Survivors include two daughters, Marquettia Young and Carla Young, both of St. Louis, Mo.; one son, Joshua Young of St. Louis, Mo.; three sisters, Rosiephine Young of Batesville and Ida Mae Flowers and Betty Jean Ellis, both of St. Louis, Mo.; and one brother, Rannie Young of Batesville.
