Eastridge, Joanne Branscome Joanne Branscome Eastridge, 56, of Charleston, died Friday, April 19, 2002, at Tallahatchie General Hospital in Charleston of cancer.
Funeral services were held Sunday, April 21, at 3 p.m. at Bethel Methodist Church in Enid. Burial was in the church cemetery. Newsom Funeral Home had charge of arrangement. Eastridge was born July 20, 1945.
She was a dental hygienist. Survivors include her husband, Tallahatchie County Circuit Clerk Paul D. Eastridge of Charleston; a daughter, Lisa Eastridge Joyner of Brandon; two sons, Jody Eastridge of Southaven and Stan Eastridge of Charleston; a sister, Bobbye Kendall of Houston, Texas; and two grandchildren.
Ellis, Mary Taylor Mary Taylor Ellis, 85, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, formerly of Batesville, died Friday, May 24, 2002, in Rock Hill of heart failure.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 25, at 10 a.m. at Woodland United Methodist Church. Cauthen Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
Ellis, daughter of the late John Wesley and Lee Chaney Taylor, was born in Cave City, Arkansas. She was a graduate of Arkansas College, did post graduate work at Southern Methodist University and was a former school teacher in Arkansas, Kentucky and Mississippi. She moved to Rock Hill in 1989, enrolled in courses at Winthrop University and became a member of Woodland Methodist Church and the Allegro Music Club. She was a former member of Delta Kappa Gamma and the American Association of University Women of Rock Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hiram L. Ellis.
Survivors include her son, Randy Ellis; three brothers, Charles A. Taylor and Chaney W. Taylor, both of Batesville Arkansas, and J. Thomas Taylor of Austin, Texas; a sister, Maxine T. Howell of Salt Lake City, Utah; and a granddaughter.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Community Care and/or First United Methodist Church, Batesville, Mississippi.
Ellis, Lynia M. Lynia M. Ellis, 92, of Sardis, died Wednesday, November 27, 2002, at Beverly Healthcare of heart failure.
Services were held Saturday, December 7, 2002, at M.B. Church. Interment was at Concord Cemetery. Rev. Buchanan of Memphis officiated services. Henderson Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
Ellis, daughter of the late John S. Ellis and the late Lillie Ellis James, was born May 4, 1910, in Mississippi. She attended school in Panola County. She was a domestic worker and a member of Roen Hill M.B. Church.
Survivors include one sister, Euretta Partee of Sardis and several nieces and nephews.

Ellis, and Uylc Ellis all of Batesville, Howard Ellis Jr. and Larry Ellis both of Milwaukee, Wis., and five grandchildren.
Eubanks, James Wallace James Wallace Eubanks, 85, of Batesville, died Tuesday, April 30, 2002, at his home of heart failure.

Eubanks, son of the late James William and Pearl Berry Eubanks, was born October 18, 1916, in Yalobusha County. He was a retired salesman and retired owner of Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mary A. Eubanks of Batesville; two sons, James Wallace Eubanks, Jr. of Tunica and William Lynn Eubanks of New Albany; two sisters, Kathryn Eubanks Onkst of Batesville and Janie Waves Eubanks Vick of Conway, Arkansas; and a brother, Ray Eubanks of Water Valley.
Everett, Willie Neel Willie Neel "Pop" Everett, 80, of Batesville, died Wednesday, August 28, 2002, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford of heart failure.

Everett was a retired trucker and a member of the First Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Stroupe Everett of Batesville; a daughter, Bonnie Everett Goodnight Kairit of Batesville; a sister, Christine Everett Hudson of Marks; two grandchildren, Bridget Goodnight of Starkville and Bill Goodnight of Cordova, Tennessee; and a great-grandson, Cody Goodnight of Cordova.
