Argene “Kate” Hoskins Hubbard, 83, passed away Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020, at Providence Assisted Living in Batesville.

A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8,  att Chapel Hill Cemetery in Pope.

Kate was born on Sept. 10, 1937 to the late Willie Edgar and Array Baker Hoskins in Golden Pond, KY. She was a homemaker during her lifetime and a member of the Liberty Hill Baptist Church.

Kate was fond of writing and reciting her own poetry, cooking for her family, traveling to Kentucky to visit family, and caring for her children.

Those left behind to cherish her loving memory include her children, Arlene Hubbard Wilson (Chuck) of Pope, Jackie L. Hubbard Tentoni of Pope, and Terry E. Hubbard (Jamie) of Courtland; her 2 sisters, Dixie Rudolph of Mayfield, KY, Willie Ray Hoskins Vasquez of Tehachapi, CA; 2 brothers, Donnie Pogue of Cerulean, KY, and Frank Pogue of Munray, KY; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Lee Hubbard, Sr., and her son, Dewey Lee Hubbard, Jr.
