Sidney L. Avant, Sr.

Sidney L. Avant, Sr., 85, retired from Mid State Paving, died Oct. 17, 2019 at home. Funeral services were. Monday, Oct. 21, at Meredith-Nowell Chapel in Clarksdale, with burial in the Memorial Gardens.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lottie Jaco Avant and parents Homer and Eula Faye Bridwel Avant.
