The following actions were taken in Batesville Municipal Court on Wednesday, June 19, with Judge Jay Westfaul presiding:
William C. Dillon, 218 Gordon Dr., Batesville, was credited for time served on a petit larceny charge.
Latonya M. Johnson, 176 Otto Sanford Rd., Courtland, pleaded guilty to petit larceny and was fined $348.
Kasey K. Hankins, 374 Ford Rd., Batesville, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana and was given a $443 fine.
Jamiah Henderson,126 Patterson St., Batesville, failed to appear on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Brandon D. Leland, 409 Greenbriar, Courtland, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana in a vehicle and was fined $683.
Shawn C. Brown,1886 John Branch Rd., Batesville, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana in a vehicle, driving with suspended license, no proof of insurance and improper equipment and was was fined $1,625.
Dedric L. Sanford, 64 Otto Sanford Rd., Courtland, failed to appear on charges of possession of marijuana in a vehicle, speeding and non-payment of old fines all totaling $4,007. An arrest warrant was issued.
William T. Wells,10091 46 Rd., Philadelphia, pleaded guilty to simple assault and public drunkenness and was fined $553.
Nashunki Kuykendoll, 377 Tubbs Rd., Batesville, had a charge of simple assault remanded to the files.
Jasmine McMurry, 120 Greg Taylor Rd., Courtland, pleaded not guilty to simple assault.
Santana L. Doyle, 3367 E.Benson Rd., Pope, had a simple assault charge dismissed due to lack of prosecution.
Derald R. Hankins, 3486 Benson Rd., Pope, had a domestic violence charge dropped.
Justin K. Ferrell, 328 Hays St., Batesville, pleaded guilty to domestic violence and non-payment of old fines totaling $828, due in 30 days.
Robert D. Wright, 3541 Nash Rd.,Batesville, had a domestic violence charge dropped due to lack of prosecution, but was ordered to pay $1,064 in old fines.
Christopher W. McCollum, 2815 Belmont Rd.,Sardis, pleaded not guilty to domestic violence and was given a July 24 court date, and was given 30 days to pay $348 in old fines.
James P. Turner,102 Holly Cove, Batesville, had a domestic violence charge dismissed due to lack of prosecution, but was ordered to pay $1,103 in old fines.
Shakiara L. Curry, 215 Draper St., Batesville, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was fined $347.
Della R. Johnson, 334B Butler Rd., Batesville, was sentenced to 30 days in jail on two counts of shoplifting.
Robreianna R.Chapman, 225 Butler Rd., Batesville, pleaded guilty to two counts of shoplifting and was fined $2,292.
Ronald G. Biggers, Jr. 6851 Dummy Line Rd., Batesville, failed to appear on a shoplifting charge.
Rayshun E. Hewettle, 204C Lester St., Batesville, was given a seven day jail sentence for non-payment of old fines totaling $647.
Gearmee C.Davis,107 Cole Dr., Batesville, was ordered to pay $1,217 in 30 days for old fines.
Latonia M. Porter, 313 Center St.,Sardis, was ordered to pay $306 in 30 days for non-payment of old fines.
Justin T. Tiner, 829 Enid Dam Rd.,Pope, was ordered to pay $633 in 30 days for non-payment of old fines.
Walter Tunson, Jr., 171 Fudgetown Rd., Batesville, had an arrest warrant issued for failure to appear on non-payment of old fines.
Tony O. Ware, 800-B Gleaton Rd., was credited for time served on non-payment of old fines.
William C. Casiday, 232 Dogwood Ln., Batesville, pleaded guilty to DUI and improper lane change and was fined $934.
Gregdrecus D. Leland, 204 Everett St.,Batesville, had a felony possession of a stolen firearm charge sent to a Panola County Grand Jury.
Jeremy K. Ellis, 303 Butler Rd., Sardis,made an initial appearance on charges of felony possession of a stolen firearm, open container and giving false identification information.
Kathryn J. Morris, 3175 Bell Rd., Courtland, had a felony embezzlement charge sent to the Panola County Grand Jury.
In cases set for trial,
Hugh J. Stiles, 518 Cooper Hollow Rd., Batesville, Ark. was found guilty of shoplifting and fined $1,146.
Mack Boclair, 138 Hoskins Rd., Batesville, was found guilty of leaving the scene of an accident, but no fine was imposed.
Kevin M. Dodson, 8445 Clubview Rd., Olive Branch, had a case of disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and false information continued.
Jaterian M. Lee, 202 Vaughn St., Batesville, had a stalking case dismissed.
Antonio L. Robinson, 210 Fisher St., Batesville, was found guilty of simple assault and fined $328.
