Batesville Dental Clinic, 113 Eureka St., will offer a Free Service Day for teachers and uninsured children. Basic and preventative dental care appointments are limited and a spot must be scheduled to take advantage of the offer. Call 563-7644 for an appointment.

The Board of Trustees for the North Panola School District will have a special board meeting (work session), Tuesday, June 18 at 6 p.m in the conference room of Central Office #1 to address the budget.

First Security Bank’s Community Development Program will present a Homebuyer Education Class, Thursday, June 20 at 5:30 p.m. It will be held in the Charleston Public Library, 102 Walnut Street, Charleston. The Board of Trustees for the North Panola School District will have a Budget Heart Monday, June 24 at 5:30 p.m. in the library of the North Panola High School. The regular Board meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the library of the North Panola High School following the budget hearing.

The Panola County Election Commission will hold poll manager training for the Republican Party at the Batesville Courthouse at 6 p.m.

June 25

Training for producers who need to acquire or renew their license to purchase Restricted Use Pesticides for their agricultural operation will be held at the Tallahatchie County Extension Office in Charleston at 10 a.m. There will be a $20 fee charged to receive this training. Jimbo  Burkhalter asks that attendees come early and pay with a check. The South Panola Class of 1979 is planning its 40th year reunion

Panola County Cancer Relief Organization meets the second Tuesday of each month at the Batesville Public Library at 6 p.m.

Al-Anon Serenity Group meets Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. at Oxford University United Methodist Church, 424 S. Tenth St., Oxford. Take the Tyler St. entrance.

Wednesdays
