Funeral services for Jimmie L. Barbee, 73, were held Sunday, April 14, at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

He died Thursday, April 11, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North MS in Oxford. Well Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.

Mr. Barbee was born June 5, 1945, in Batesville,  to the late J.O. and Martha Lewellen Barbee. He was an active and longtime member of Mt. Olivet Methodist Church.

 

A memorial gathering honoring the life of Leo Allen Larson, 70, will be held today (April 16) from 2 to 4  p.m. in the  Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home.

He died April 11, 2019, at his home in Horn Lake.

He was born Dec. 22, 1948, to the late Marie Baker Shultz and Woodrow C. Larson in Sioux Falls, S.D. He was a retired supervisor for North MS Pest Control. He was the widower of Jeanette Larson.

 

Jessie Parker died April 7, 2019. The family will have a memorial service Saturday, April 20 at 1 p.m. at Olive Ray M.B. Church, 1422 Plum Point Rd., in Pope.

He was born March 15, 1953, in Panola County to the late Shelby and Katherine Lloyd Parker.

 

Andrew J. “Jack” Waldo, Jr., 70, died Friday, April 12, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North MS in Oxford.

Funeral services were Sunday, April 14, in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with interment at Elam Cemetery near Coffeeville.

He was born August 10, 1948, in Coffeeville to the late Andrew J. Waldo, Sr. and Edna Vashti French Waldo. He was a retired self-employed wholesale auto parts salesman and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tutwiler.
