Ladies machine piece and then hand quilt items in their homes. TCEC provides all the material, thread and batting to the quilters for making the items. The products are sold through TCEC. The quilters receive 80 percent of the price of the items.

This quilting project helps preserve the African-American quilting tradition of the Mississippi Delta and also enables the women to earn money to support themselves and their families.
