Sardis District Missionary Baptist Association Sunday school and N.B.C. Congress of North Mississippi will convene in its first board meeting for 2019 on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 4 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Baptist Educational Building, 582 West Lee St., Sardis. All board members are asked to please be present. Business of extreme importance will be discussed.

The Mt. Zion Baptist Church will celebrate is Women in White at 3 p.m. Special guest speaker will be Evangelist Ford of Deliverance Tabernacle. Rev. Sammy Parker is pastor.

Nelson Chapel M.B. Church will hold revival the week of Jan. 28 – Feb. 1. Speakers each day include: Monday, Rev.  Melvin Ellis of Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church; Tuesday, Rev. Nehemiah Martin of Pope Chapel AME Zion Church; Wednesday, Rev. Ethel Scurlock of First United M.B Church/Avis Grove M.B Church; Thursday, Rev. Mark Davis of Springfield M.B Church; and Friday, Rev. Feb. 2

Deliverance Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, Inc. will have a Night of Fellowship Saturday, February 2 at 6 p.m.  Apostle Mark Williams of No Souls Left Behind will be the guest speaker. Bishop E.M. Fondren is the pastor. Everyone is invited.

Feb. 9

Sardis Lake Baptist Church Mission Team will host their buffet style Wild Game Supper on Saturday, Feb. 9, a 6 p.m. Cost is $10 per person and will help support the church’s mission outreaches. Call 609-0546 for more information.

Batesville First Baptist Church will host a Wildgame Supper at 6:30 p.m. Chuck McAlister is the guest speaker.
