Coming off their second consecutive North 3A  championship game appearance and a 12-2 record, North Panola High School head coach Carl Diffee has released the Cougars 2019 football schedule.

North Panola will tangle with two-time 5A state champion West Point as part of Mississippi State University’s high school jamboree Aug.17, 2019, at Davis Wade Stadium.

After officially opening the regular season at former district foe M.S.Palmer High School on Aug. 23, the Cougars will take on Rosa Fort the following week in their home opener.

North Panola will then square off against back-to-back 2A opponents as they travel to Charleston before returning home Sept.13 to face Calhoun City.

The Cougars open up district play at home against newcomer Senatobia Oct. 4 before visiting Byhalia the next week. The meeting with Senatobia will mark the first time the two schools have met since 2009.

Consecutive home district games verses Independence and defending 3A state champion Water Valley closes out the home slate.

The Cougars will end the regular season Nov. 1 at Holly Springs.
