J’Tavian Hicks recorded 14 points, four rebounds and two steals but it wasn’t enough as South Panola boys fell to Hernando 77-48 Friday in non-division boys basketball action.

Stanwon Porter  followed Hicks in the scoring column with 10 points while Keith Cole added eight points to go along with eight boards. JaMicheal chipped in with six points for the Tigers who fell to 3-4 on the season.

Eldridge Brooks finished with five points, four rebounds and two steals. Terry Bishop also contributed with five points.

The South Panola Lady Tigers dropped to 4-6 on the season with a 56-37 loss to the visiting Tigers.

South Panola hosted North Delta last night before taking off for Christmas break and will return to the hardwood Dec.29 when they host the Domino’s Challenge.
