Guaranty Bank announces new hires

SENATOBIA – Hue Townsend, president and chief executive Officer of Guaranty Bank & Trust Company, has announced that Chuck Jackson has joined the bank and will serve as president of its Senatobia office, and Karen “Suzy” Hawkins will serve as a relationship banker.
Jackson attended the University of Mississippi and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Delta State University, where he was a member of the baseball team. He has also completed studies at the Barret School of Banking, conducted at the University of Memphis.
Most recently, Jackson was affiliated with First Financial Bank in Senatobia, where he served as president. Prior to that, he served as a loan officer at Community Mortgage in Southaven.
Jackson serves on the Foundation Board of Northwest Mississippi Community College and is a previous member of both the North Mississippi Home Builders and the North Mississippi Board of Realtors. He served as chairman of the Como Methodist Church Pastor Parish Relations committee and is a member of Hernando Methodist Church.
He also is a member of Business Network International in Southaven. Jackson and his wife, Rachel, have two daughters, Lizzie and Lee Taylor, who both currently attend Ole Miss.
Hawkins is a native of Crenshaw, and a graduate of North Delta School. She earned her Associates degree in Business Administration from Delta State University. Active in the community, she is a member of the Board of Tate County Economic Development and a member of the Tate County United Way Allocation Board. She is an active member of Strayhorn Baptist Church.
Hawkins and her husband, Kenny, have two sons, Kent and Bryant. She counts among her hobbies gardening and spending time with family and friends.
