JH ladies of SP down Senatobia in twinbill

The South Panola Junior High fastpitch softball team defeated Senatobia in a doubleheader 7-2, 5-3 Monday in Senatobia.
Lady Tigers Janarria Sanford and Molly Seay scored two runs in top of the first on an Addison Hardy single. Sanford beat out the throw to first on a bunt to get om base.
Hardy scored on a passed ball as Bailey Ware reached first on an error on her bunt.
Seay walked and advanced to second on a sacrifice fly to right by Rebekah Cook.
Avery Seay walked and stole home as Senatobia’s catcher allowed passed  by. Bailey Russell’s single drove home Ware for the fifth run of the inning.
In Jr. High action, only five runs are allowed per inning.
Cook took the mound for the Lady Tigers.
The Lady Tigers scored two more runs in the second inning. Sanford made it on base with another bunt and continued to steal until she reached the plate. Cook doubled to left scoring on a single to right.
In the final inning, two Senatobia batters got on base with a bunt and a walk and were able to score on a single to right.

 The Lady Tigers struggled in their second game against Senatobia, not scoring any runs in the first two innings.
Senatobia came out strong on offense scoring three runs in the first inning. Two Senatobia batters got on base and scored on a triple to right. A Senatobia runner stole home scoring the third run for the Lady Warriors.
In the third inning, Molly Seay was safe at first as the Senatobia first baseman dropped throw.
Cook walked and Lily Morrow was hit by a pitch, loading the bases. A double to center by Ware drove home Seay and Cook.
The Lady Tigers trailed by one in the bottom of the third.  
Two back to back errors by Senatobia’s catcher allowed Dent and Brinley Locke on base in the fourth. Meleah Pogue loaded the bases after being hit by a pitch. Dent stole home tying the score at three.
A sacrifice fly by Molly Seay drove Locke home, giving the Lady Tigers the lead. Cook singled driving home Pogue for the insurance run. The game was called due to time limit.
