Bass Classic announces increased payouts

The 2016 St Jude Bass Classic will be headquartered at Batesville Civic Center. During the Classic weekend there will be a Family Fair with rides, games & food, May 27, 28 and 29.
There will also be a benefit concert in the 7,000 seat Batesville Civic Center. All these events benefit the children of St. Jude.
St. Jude Bass Classic is scheduled for May 29 on Sardis Lake. Tournament director Rick Lesley has announced payouts in the tournament are increasing from 1 to 25 places to 1 to 40 places with guaranteed payouts of $19, 475.
This particular Bass Classic has been helping St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment for 44 years.
Early bird entry is good through April 25 for $225. After then, entry fee is $250.
Added this year is an Optional Big Bass Pot which is $25 per team. The largest bass of the tournament will be held until the fish is checked by officials and certified. A portion of the Big Bass Pot will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Also, back this year is the Fishin’ for the Kids campaign which deadlines May 15 at midnight.
