Willie James Bobo

MEMPHIS––Willie James Bobo, 62, died Monday, January 25, 2016.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Green Cemetery in Sardis. Visitation will be held today from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. at Cooley’s Mortuary. Burial will be in Pleasant Green Cemetery in Sardis. Cooley’s Mortuary has charge.
Bobo, born Aug. 28, 1953, in Sardis, to the late John C. Bobo and Mae Ethel Lock, was a retired tire serviceman at Downtown Tire Service in Memphis. He was a member of Morris Chapel Church in Sardis.
Survivors include: two brothers, Bobby Joe Bobo of Sardis and Harris C. Bobo of Memphis and one sister, Freddie Ann Bobo of Sardis.

Justin Reese Britt

BATESVILLE––Justin Reese Britt, 27, died Monday, February 8, 2016, at his residence.
Services were held Thursday at Sardis Lake Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Kevin Crofford officiated. Wells Funeral Home had charge.
Britt, born July 21, 1988, in Batesville, to Paul and Beverly Britt, was a 2007 graduate of South Panola High School and attended Northwest Mississippi Community College. He was a parts salesman at Hallmark Ford for the past two years and was a member of Sardis Lake Baptist Church.
Survivors along with his parents include: one sister, Braylee Russell of Batesville; two brothers, Eric Britt and Dennis Britt, both of Batesville and his grandmother, Frances Lovelady.
Memorial donations may be made in Justin’s honor to Sardis Lake Mission Team, 24709 Highway 35 North, Batesville, 38606.

Jane Robison

ALEXANDRIA, Va.–Jane Robison, 88, died Sunday, January 31, 2016, in Alexandria.
Graveside services were held February 6 at Magnolia Cemetery in Batesville. Rev. Jerry Long of Batesville Presbyterian Church officiated. Wells Funeral Home had charge.
Robison, born to the late John W. Robison Sr. and Vernon Buford Robison,  attended Mississippi University for Women and graduated from The University of Mississippi. She was a civilian employee of the U.S. Air Force. She worked in Gulfport, Wiesbaden, Germany, Dayton, Ohio and Washington, D.C. until retirement. She received the USAF Award for Civilian Meritorious Service in the Intelligence Department.

Christine Johnson Ware

BATESVILLE––Christine Johnson Ware, 81, died Thursday, February 4, 2016, at her residence.
Services were held Monday at Wells Funeral Home. Burial was in Blackjack Presbyterian Cemetery. Wells Funeral Home had charge.
Ware, born Feb. 14, 1934, in Water Valley, to Jim Shepard and Lillie Turner Shepard, was a retired custodian from South Panola School District.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Earl Ware and one daughter, Martha Johnson Hernandez.
Survivors include: her son, Henry Johnson Sr. of Batesville; two sisters, Lee Hawkins of Water Valley and Ruby Sullivant of Batesville and four grandchildren.
