Fay Hopper

POPE––Fay Hopper, 71, died Monday, December 7, 2015
at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi.

Services were held Thursday at Liberty Hill Baptist
Church. Brother Derrick Simmons officiated. Burial was in
Chapel Hill Cemetery. Wells Funeral Home had charge.
Born June 26, 1944, to Alvin and Tina Dye Henderson in
Greenwood, she was a department manager for Walmart in
Batesville for 20 years and a member of Liberty Hill Baptist
Church.

Survivors include: her husband, Jerry Hopper of Pope;
four children, Eric (Sherry) Wayne Hopper of Strayhorn,
Scott (Tanya) Hopper and Greg (Rhonda) Hopper, both of
Batesville, and Tina (Allen) Anthony of Hernando; sister,
Laviel Saldivar; two brothers, Gene Henderson of Brandon,
and Bill Henderson, of Branson, Mo.; 12 grandchildren:
Ashlee Bontrager, Audree Hopper Elfers, Cody Edlin,
Colton Edlin, Shane Edlin, Walt and Emily Hopper, Erin
Hopper Womble, Daniel, Zach and Zane Hopper, Meredith
Anthony; and three great-gandchildren: Patrick Hopper,
Rianne and Lincoln Elfers.

Flavous Milan Jr.

SENATOBIA––Flavous Milan Jr., 59, died Tuesday,
December 8, 2015, in Memphis.

Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Second
Baptist M.B. Church in Coldwater. Visitation will be held 10
a.m. until service time at the church and also today from 5
p.m. – 7 p.m. at Zion Hill M.B. Church in Coldwater. Burial
will be in Independence Tyro Cemetery. Rodgers Funeral
Home has charge.

Milan was a machine operator and a member of Zion M.
B. Church.

Survivors include: his wife, Gala Lavern Milan; one
daughter, Shelby Dandridge of Senatobia; one son, Flavous
Milan of Batesville; four sisters, Bonnie Session of Memphis,
Joyce Burdette of Batesville, Geraldine Solomon and Jeffie
Milan, both of Memphis; and six grandchildren.


James Edward Pruitt

CROWDER––James Edward Pruitt, 67, died Monday,
December 7, 2015, at his residence.

Memorial services will be held at a late date. Dickins
Funeral Home has charge.

Pruitt was born March 17, 1948, in Quitman County, to
the late Earlie Buck Pruitt and Billie Dove Shelton Pruitt.

Survivors include: two sons, Paul Edward Pruitt of
Como and James Kevin

Elizabeth Ann-Dean Toliver

SARDIS–– Elizabeth Ann Dean Toliver, 63, died
Thursday, December 3, 2015, at Merit Health.

Services were held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Henderson
Funeral Home in Sardis. Burial will be in Pleasant Green
Cemetery. Henderson Funeral Home had charge.

Toliver was born July 23, 1952, in Panola, to the late
Aaron Dean and Lillian Smith Dean.

Survivors include: her husband, Ray Charles Toliver of
Como; one son, Derrick Howard of Georgia; one daughter,
Delcenia Pegues of Horn Lake; three brothers, Moses Dean
and David Dean, both of Sardis and Obie Dean of Illinois
and two sisters, Queen Montgomery of Illinois and Lillie
Henson of Sardis.
