Dem nominee for governor greets voters here today

Tim Johnson, Democratic Nominee for Lt. Governor will make Batesville one of his 41 stops in eight days arriving in Batesville today.

He will speak at 2 p.m. today at the Panola County Courthouse in Batesville according to a press release from County Democrat Executive Committee Chairman Lourine Robinson.

“As a former truck driver, this will be like old times traveling the highways and byways of this beautiful state,” said Johnson. 

   “I am looking forward to visiting with the citizens of this fine community and sharing with the voters my vision for this great state,” said Johnson.
