He is shown during a recent signing ceremony with his parents, Melanie and Jim Whitten, and ECCC head coach Neal Holliman (right). Whitten is a product of South Panola High School and has played various positions for the Warriors including left field, first base and designated hitter. He also serves as team captain. Coach Holliman said of Whitten, “Without a doubt, he is one of the finest young men to ever come through the East Central baseball program.”
