Milwaukee, Wis.––Frettie Lee Loyd Adair, 97, formerly of Eureka, died Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Milwaukee.

Services will be Saturday, February 14 at Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Courtland at 11 a.m.

Pastor Larry Key and Rev. Jacob Hentz will officiate. Burial will be in Eureka Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 11-6 at Cooley’s Mortuary.

She was born April 23, 1917, in Panola County to the late Frank and Lillie Mae (McGhee) Lloyd.
She served as usher at Olive Ray MB Church until she relocated to Milwaukee where she joined Jordan MB Church and served on the Mother’s Board until her health failed.

She was educated in Panola County and was a homemaker and private home worker for many years. She was married to John Adair for 42 years until his death in 1981.

Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her step-son, Charlie L. Adair and four grandchildren.

Survivors include: four daughters, Johnnie V. Adair of Batesville, Johnnie Florence Adair, Emma Jean Adair and Benny Jean Adair Bivins, all of Milwaukee and one step-son, Jim Adair of Batesville; her sister-in-law, Katherine Lloyd; one daughter-in-law, Eunice Adair; 33 grandchildren.
