South Panola Tiger fans returned to Starkville Sunday evening after the 6A state championship football game on the Mississippi State University campus was interrupted Friday by a power failure at the stadium and then by a thunderstorm. An estimated crowd of more than 4,000 Tiger fans (more than the Friday crowd) saw their team claim its 11th state championship. See Sports, Section B, for coverage of the game.
