JA members have provided Angel Trees to allow people to “adopt” a child and provide Christmas gifts, which will be delivered in time for Christmas by JA volunteers. Angel Trees are located at First Security Bank (where Norwood works), Regions Bank, The Veranda and the Funky Zebra. Anyone may select an “angel” ornament from a tree, purchase gifts and return them unwrapped by December 10 to the location where they selected the ornament. There are 160 local children who need to be adopted.
