Towles inks with NWCC baseball 5/16/2014

South Panola right-handed pitcher Austin Towles signed to continue his playing career at Northwest Community College.
The 6’3” senior pitched 53 innings, logging a 2-5 record. He threw 51 strikeouts, had one save and a 2.37 ERA.
Tiger head coach Justin Reed said, “It great day for the program as this is the fourth player to sign and we’re still waiting on one more. I’m proud of Austin and appreciate all of his hard work and dedication. Today is all about him and his family.”
Towles said, “I thank God for this day. I thank my family, all my coaches and friends for supporting me. I look forward to playing at Northwest.”
