Martha Welch Bell

SENATOBIA—Martha Welch Bell, 63, died Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at her residence.

Services were held Saturday at Pate Jones Funeral Home in Senatobia. Burial was in the LDS Cemetery in Sarah.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Bell. Survivors include: daughters, Michelle Littlejohn of Senatobia and Elizabeth Thompson of Potts Camp; sisters, Lounette Freeman and Brenda Welch of Holcomb; one brother, Dennis Welch of Pope and five grandchildren.

Wallace Crump

COURTLAND—Wallace Crump, 50, died Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at Tri-Lakes Medical Center.

Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Cooley’s Mortuary. Brian Odiahambo will officiate. Burial will be in Batesville Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. at Cooley’s Mortuary.

Crump, born Feb. 15, 1963, in Marks, to Beatrice Edward Crump of Batesville and the late Leandrew Crump, attended South Panola High School. He was a technician installer for Direct TV and a member of Heart Generation Church in Sardis.

Survivors along with his mother include: his wife, Kathy J. Crump of Batesville; three daughters, Joceyln B. Crump of Courtland, Shaquita Ford of Sardis and Dorian Winfield of Texas; two sons, Donalyn J. Crump and Wallace D. Ford, both of Courtland; three sisters, Mary A. Crump of Chicago, Edith M. Gates and Earnestine Wilkison, both of Milwaukee and three brothers, Leonard Edwards of LaMirada, Calif., Lee Crump and Michael A. Crump, both of Sardis.

Bobby Clyde “Bob” Little

CROWDER—Bobby Clyde “Bob” Little, 83, died Friday, November 29, 2013, in Southaven.
Services were held Sunday at Crowder Assembly of God Church with burial in Crowder Cemetery. Rev. Murphy Eubanks and Rev. Job Dalomba officiated. Dickins Funeral Home had charge.

Little, born Jan. 14, 1930, in Crowder, to the late Thomas Clyde Little and Floy Hamilton Little, was a retired carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Martin Little.

Survivors include: one daughter, Bobbie Lynn Little of Crowder; two sons, Gerald Little of Senatobia and Martin Steven Little of Crowder; two sisters, Nancy Renfro and Mary Stroup of Crowder; two grandchildren.

Richard L. Mayo Jr.

COURTLAND—Richard L. Mayo Jr., 35, died Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at Tri-Lakes Medical Hospital.

The family will hold private memorial services at a later time. Wells Funeral Home had charge.

Mayo was born Dec. 16, 1977, to Judy Wiggs of Courtland and the late Richard L. Mayo Sr. in Shelby.

Survivors along with his mother include: daughter, Alexis Richelle Adcock of Batesville; stepfather, James Davis of Courtland; sister, Cherri Mayo Hollingsworth of Courtland; one brother, Michael Dickson of Courtland and his grandmother, Grace Wallace Mayo of Sledge.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Methodist Rehab, Patient Care Fund, 1350 East Woodrow Wilson, Jackson, Miss. 39216.

Willie Moore Jr.

DUNDEE—Willie Moore Jr., 72, died Friday, November 29, 2013, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Memorial services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Wells Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Gerald Castalow will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
Moore, born May 26, 1941, in Lambert to the late Willie Moore Sr. and Mildred Goodnight, was a retired butcher.

He served in the National Guard and was a Methodist.

Survivors include: his wife, Janice Wells of Dundee; two daughters, Charlene Moore Taylor of Dundee and Laura Moore Wilder of Tallulah, La.; son, Bubba Moore of Batesville; three sisters, Joyce Moore Jenkins of Marks, Charlotte Moore Cooke and Daphene Moore Melton, both of Senatobia; three brothers, Ralph Moore of Sardis, Wayne Moore and Mackey Moore, both of Senatobia; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
