The North Panola track team traveled to Winona Thursday to compete in the district tournament and the boys walked away district champions with 158 points, followed by Charleston in second with 104 points.
The boys walked away with seven district titles in the track and field events. The girls claimed one district title, April Pope, discus.

Kelvin Covington claimed the district titles in shot put and discus. Other district titles were claimed in 100m hurdles – Ja’Anthony Wright; 400m hurdles – Detalion Mays; 4x100m relay – Justin Conner, Randy Harrell, Darius Thomas and Jamal Mangrum; 4x200m relay – Same as 4×100; and Long Jump – Darius Thomas.

Results from Thursday and advancing to regionals on Saturday at Winona starting at 10 a.m. are:
